Saturday mornings, 9:30 - 11:00 AM July 13, 20, 27. - includes instruction, clay and firing. Pottery wheel or hand building. Classes include clay, glazes, instruction, tool use and firing. 1 class $30 per kid - 2 classes $60 - Parent and kid $58 - Adults $35 per class.
Private wheel throwing/hand building lessons (one on one) are available - $45 for an hour and a half. Douglas Kenney Ceramics is available for private parties @ $30 per person (4 minimum) per 2.5 hour session.
During late July and August there will be no classes. The artist will be doing his own work. In late August classes will resume.
Douglas Kenney Ceramics is offering an Adult Tuesday/Thursday, 6:00 to 8:30 night class, at his studio near Mt. Helix. Students will explore the wheel and handbuilding ceramics. Cost is $30 per class. After the first class (4) class minimum of $120 payment is required. Excessive production may be subject to another kiln/clay charge. Beginners through advanced welcome.
